PWF CORPORATION BHD ("PWF") is a public listed company based in the state of Penang with headquarters in Bukit Minyak Industrial Park.
PWF was incorporated on 19 February 1997 as an investment holding company for the PWF group of companies. It was listed on the Second Board of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE) on 3 June 2002 and subsequently transferred to the Main Board of the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 28 January 2004.
The Group’s vision is to become a top food producer and a trusted name in the livestock industry. Our mission to realise this vision is to diligently, actively and effectively pursue excellence in quality and product safety. The Company and its subsidiaries had won several awards including SMI-AIA Achievers’ Award 2004, Outstanding Feedmiller Award 2007 and Outstanding Breeder Farm Award 2009 of the Malaysian Livestock Industry Award.
The PWF business began in 1970s when a feed mill was set up under PWF Feeds Sdn Bhd to produce poultry feed to the local farmers on small scale basis. In 1985, PWF ventured into the broiler farming business with the incorporation of PWF Farms Sdn Bhd. The companies grew steadily and sales expanded as it gained industry know how and strength in the ensuing years. PWF Group took shape with the incorporation of PWF Corporation Bhd. In the following years, the group began rapid expansion, diversifying into breeder farming and trading of grain and poultry nutrient product and later layer farming and poultry processing. This integrated business strategy enables PWF Group to derive significant competitive advantage by capitalizing on scale economy and more effective and efficient control over cost and quality in the entire value chain.
